you can't use stock motor plate for speed300. ARM has plate specially for speed300...or you can do it custom made. Something like this
hope this helps

superk-i did the same thing. i got the motor tried to put it in and i found the holes to be different. so it stuck the mount in a vise and machined(drilled) away! its a good cheap fix as i went racing today and did good.probably tomarow i will be ordering a motor plate(for speed 300) and some other things from team speedster( www.teamspeedster.com ). hope this helps

Default Have a question??

I have a Micro with the Ratzazz Chassis, speed 300 motor 11t pinion, v12 speedo,5 1800nimh batts, stock tires (asst) Well here is my problem. I am running it on Ozite carpet and the darn thing hops one way (to the right) I have tried tires wheels battery placement, oil filled shock on the rear, speedo placement and rec. I cannot get it to stop HELP please. Oh by the way not a beginner racer. Just thought I'd throw that in Check out my Website www.seidkracing.com Also does anyone have any motor pods they want to sell or other parts. LMK Thanks Eric.B aka Dotjumper

Sounds like it might be just the carpet.. Where I race we have the same thing the carpet actually make the car track funny . Try to Take the course a different direction and see if it changes. Also, What I have noticed is that if you Widen the wheel width to the widest setting it will help track a little striaghter. As well a trying the 150mm setting.

Default micro penguin chassie

how do people feel anout the lemans type of the penguin 3500 micro chassie. haow dose it compare to other chassies, namely the team epic. i have a team orion coreless motor, standard and hpi micro modified. i am hopeing to try out some foam tires but may settle for the hpi high preformance rubbers. i really want this chassie but i would like to know the ups ad downs of owning this chassie.

penguin chassis is great! I got one and it made quite a difference in handling. You need to play with the type of roll plate to match your track conditions but its very easy to do so. Very nice quality too.

Mr rc: i have a dynamite rocket racer, which i think is the same as the abc car. I think it could be a very fast car if it had better tires and a front suspension which did not bind up. the steering knuckles flex and bind on the kingpins. Do you know where you can get parts and options for this car?
