My name was probably drawn since I told Boomer I was leaving. My timing is usually "off". Hopefully, the girl will enjoy it (and not only her father!)

On a brighter side (for some), here are a few pics that I did take today before I left.

The Schumacher team put on a good show for the first major carpet race with the Mi3. Good job guys. And congrats to Teemu getting the Mod foam win.

What a great race. Everything went as smooth as can be. Hats off to Scotty, Boomer, Jamie, and the crew!!!

I also would like to congratulate and thank everyone who used Parma tires and bodies. In the foam tire TC classes Parma tires and bodies were the most used products in the A mains.

In the stock foam A main Parma Pro-53 tires took the win and top 6 qualifying spots. 8 out of 10 in the main ran the Pro-53's as well as all of them running Parma bodies.

In the 19t foam A main Parma Pro-53 tires were second and third and took 7 out of 10 spots. All the main racers also used Parma bodies.

Parma tires also took the top 2 spots in Mod foam qualifying as well as 1,2,4th place in the A main. Parma Pro-53 tires won the mod foam class and 6 out of the 10 racers used Parma bodies.

Congrats to Brad Johnson, Teemu Leino, and Chris Tosolini for their TQ's and/or wins!!

I can't wait until next year

Paul

With fewer entires, the schedule was much easier to deal with than last year's. And as always, the schedule was followed perfectly. Scotty has set the standard for race organization and I hope to see more races of this caliber pop up on the schedule.

My only suggestions:

1. More complete chassis tech inspection (width in particular). And this goes for the other big races that only weigh cars and check ride height.
2. More timely trophy presentation. By the time the trophies are presented, most racers and spectators have left. Everyone is tired and it even got the the point where nobody clapped (or very few) for the winners. My suggestion is to schedule an extra 10 minutes after each A main and present the awards right after each race is over. The day will not be shortened, but at least the drivers will experience a little more glory and there will be less waiting at the end of the day.
