I don't know whether Scotty is having a warm up race but I know that in Vegas we are having one. Read above. Gives you guys a chance to come down to Sin City (sorry, no Jessica Alba, I wish) and play for a weekend and also gives you a chance to lay down some foam.

Race is on Saturday and Sunday so no need to miss a workday.

Why only foam classes since there will be rubber run at IIC as well. If it is a warm up race why not run both?

It was RP 30's last year, so it may be the same tire again this year, but you never know.

For what it's worth I like CS27s better for carpet... they hold up better and acctually get faster over the first couple of runs unlike 30s which need to be scuffed to run fast, then fall off pretty quickly (also the glue job on the rims seems to be better on the 27s than on the warpy 30s...)

I dont think it should be an isue I will ask the guys at the track, If we know what tires that are being used at the IIC dont see why not.

That is a good question. I would go to the Cutting Edge Warm up race thread

http://rctech.net/forum/showthread.php?t=157424

and ask them the same question because then you will probably get an answer straight from the track themselves.

I honestly don't know for sure, I know RP30 were it last year and CS27 the first year. We will have to wait and see what Scotty and Boomer come up with.

As I posted before this one, they have used CS 27's and RP 30's. I guess it would be a matter of what you can get the better deal on as a track if you are in fact doing a control tire for your event.
