having a faster motor won't necessarily yield more power unless you have the batteries to power them as powerful motors tend to pull more amps and put more strain on your batteries.
I used to have a Fantom Dyno and used to work on motors for hours on end. I got rid of it and concentrated more on just practicing and driving, it wasn't until I did that that I really started getting better and better. Now I build such a good motor I don't need a dyno or what not to test it. I run it on the motor checker and can tell you if it's good or not.
work on your car setups and DRIVE, DRIVE, DRIVE!
Best advice I was ever given!

No one has mentioned these yet: Fantom 315 brushes. We keep going back to them after trying Trinity and Putnam. The only non-Fantom brush we use is the Reedy 769 (767 with cavity) in our 19t spec motors.

Stock Motor Brush choices
Guys;
The Putnams are interesting. Anyone have a clue as to the actual Silver % contents in each color?
I tried to order from R/C-4-Less, but the links were broken on their site.(not a comforting thought) Directly from Putnam is too expensive.
I also cannot find a USA distributor for the CS Brushes that alot of people are raving about. (I won't order overseas because of security reasons)
Fantom brushes are just supposed to be re-packaged Reedy brushes and I'm looking for something better/different.
Trinity brushes, tried them, need something more.
Axiom 12% silver brushes may be the hot ticket, but every link that they had on their site to a distributor was worthless. Anyone have someplace that they've bought these before??
Thanks,

Source for Putnam Brushes online
Guys;
The link that 'Rod B' posted for KT Hobbies works fine. They take Visa, MC and PayPal. Got some coming already.
NOW....how about someplace for the Axiom 12% Silver brushes.
Thanks,

Pops send Money through Paypal to [email protected]. Dave Gullickson is currently redoing the site (switching servers) and it won't accept online orders right now. I always use paypal to order my team stuff, and that's what he used to do before he had online ordering established. Actually pops, email him and tell him you want to order X# of brushes and ask if you can send it through paypal. Hope this helps, axiom brushes ROCK!!!!
