Turbo Joe, I don't think you said anything that was offensive. You were providing us with a definition. Crash sounded like he was offended from another member. It's okay, though, I think we're all good, now.

I got to try out my 7700 at Revelations tonight...DAYUM !
If I can keep it on the track, the nitro guys are gonna be pissed...LOLFor a big, wide-open gas track...where do you gear it? I had it at 5.70 on full-sized nitro foams, then I geared it down like 5 teeth and it seemed like it ran about the same. My hunch is to gear it as low as I can and still keep up to save runtime...I need to make 10 minutes with a 4800 Peak LiPo.
Is it all just about temp? It's hard to judge the punch deal because the track is so big for an electric car...funny thing was though...there were THREE of us out there...all with Tamiyas...and all with 7700 Mambas.
On the runtime deal...at the Tamiya Enduros, we would get at least 14-ish minutes with 7.5 and 6.5 Novaks on a 4800 battery with full charge. How does the Mamba Maxx compare to those in terms of efficiency? For a comparable wind, would they have less or more runtime? I know they have a different style of wind and all...I assume that has some affect, one way or another, right?.
I really want to make sure I can go 10 minutes (nitro class main) on a pack...and like a dumbass, I left two of my three batteries at the house, so I never got to make a full timed run tonight. It looks to be a close one as my friend got approximately 11 minutes out of his...but it wasn't totally topped off.

I still don't know how sensored motors are wound differently from nonsensored or why the Mamba can't run sensored motors like Novak or LRP. Perhaps Crash can answer that.
