I did notice that the car has alot of travel. I will take a close up of the front of my car as it might help you some.

thanks for the info.
i just looked at my car and i did have longer shocks on the front..so i switched them with the rears and now the front is fine..5.5mm and plenty of shock travel.
but now the problem has gone to the rear LOL....i am thinking i got the wrong shock ends on (long ones)...am i meant to have the shorter ones on?
i probably made a simple mistake but it is hard trying to read japenese..or try and work out what the not so good pics mean

You will need the short ends on the rear shocks just like the front ones.

It's also an idea to get some short shock bodies, the same as the front ones and fit them to the rear. Otherwise you can still get a bit of limited compression at the rear. It's kind of puzzling why Alex Racing decided to bother with long shock bodies on the rear

hey, i;m a 15 yr old brit..i;ve got a decent excuse 
i seen a lot of people fit yokomo shocks, or tamiya ones (they are pricey though)
is it actually worth getting different shocks to standard though?
don't want to be splashing out on things i don't need.
