youll be quite happy with the Cuda...i used to run it all last year and this past winter...i then switched to the Warpspeed TC3 and gained a second a lap ive had great results with the Cuda though at national races (1st in B at Novak and 10th in A at Triple Crown) it has tons of potential
Hi Guys,
We are back from the Reedy Touring Car Race of Champions and I want to congratulate all the guys running the barracuda this weekend, especially to Mike Rydwell (MikeR on R/C Tech) who finished 7th in the 19t A main this year. And also to Ling Kang Tong (Linger on R/C Tech) who put in a solid run in the B main. Out of 100 drivers from all over the country it is a great achievement to be in the top 10 and top 20.
I will have both of these guy's setup posted on www.alexracingusa.com in the next couple of days

Looks good wyd !! Are you planning on using strapping tape for the batts ? I ended up using yokomo's battery strap and posts for my Xenon R2. Whereabouts in PA are you ?

id get rid of the clear tranny boxes and purchase some aluminum bearings holders for the driveshaft....unless you wanna hear grinding with high torque motors coming out of the corners
wyd,
Car looks good! But I think you have to take off the tranny case because the chassis was designed to work without the tranny case (along with the short steering post) because the motor mount will be 1mm lower than the rest of the mounting points to the upperdeck if you're using the plastic casing and the regular height steering posts. Check it from a side view and see if the upperdeck is bending down at a small angle right now at the motor mount.

Steve,
I saw the R/C driver Steve bobblehead. The resemblance is so cunning that it is almost disturbing..hahahaha
