The spool was 2 grams more than a one-way unit but I forget the total number. The unit I have is a prototype so the finished product could change.
OVA- I run around the SoCal area. I think Mark was at rcheat.com circuit last week. He's a cool guy but too bad he drives a Losi

<cricket - cricket> it's awfully quiet in here. Must be alot of wrenching.
Hi Guys,,
The spools are available now
I recommand using steel universal components and axles when running the spools (they can be harsh on the light weight stuff, even titanium)
And also congratulations to Kitazawa from Japan who finished a well placed 6th at the Pre-worlds this past weekend in Modified A main (beating out some of the best in the world)

BTW Did any of you have to modify your diff covers to fit on the Xenon chassis? What ever happened to the colored diff covers? Did they only make them for the R1? I remember having purple ones on my R1.
NismoSkyline17,
I just trimmed a little off the the bottom of the diff covers on my R2 when I changed to the Xenon chassis. Before that, the diff covers sat too high and I couldn't get the shock tower screws to line up with the bulkheads.

Is it still just as harsh on the Ti axles in stock?

I had to turn up the dual rate a little to get some extra steering over my one-way set-up. I think Ling posted a spool set up a few weeks ago here though. Sounds like he had to take his front sway bar off to get a litlle more front bite.
If there's room we all may be at the same table I'm sure.

R2 English manual
Where can I get the english version of th R2 manual??
New Barracuda?
Tech Regular
I spoke to the guy who made that prototype directly by email. That model will never be made for sale, it is just a show piece and not even tested on any track either
