Havent tried it yet...I expect it to be something different compare to other shaft driven...the arms are really something.
During assembly (the Jap manual...doh) have a slight guessing here and there but all in all, the alignment and fitting are perfect.
Whats your view?

chassis is pretty solid, very minimum flex as I feel it. The rack steering is much smoother than the TC3, must be because of the delrin bushings in the middle of it.
Another thing is the motor mount block, it should give less tweak I suppose cos bottom side mounting is right down the middle.

logically I think it has. How much less/more compare to say TC3, I'm not sure, haven't tried it yet. R2 owner maybe can comment on that. I can't be sure cos I don't have an R2 or even knows how much different they are.

GTO : Hehe, get the brushless in there quick. The acid test would be this SUnday when you pit this against Ozone's 04 and my EVO3... guess after that, you will then be able to answer everyone's question

Bring it on!

I use to run TC3 on a 13sec high speed track, I can't feel the torque steer. I run my practice with Novak BL geared at 7 which i think should give me plenty of torque, I still don't feel it. It's there I suppose but I don't feel it.

I've raced my R2 Web Special with a 10x2... and never experience any serious torque steer. was very well balanced. Unfortunately I did not have have then the PAL drive system and I stripped the gears within 3min. of the race. Will you not have that problem with the R3... the Spur gear shaft support is all built in now...
