Hey Everyone, I just got and R2 and I'm amazed at its performance. I used to drive a TB evo 3 and you have to replace the arms and other parts to reduce slop. The only thing i don't like about the R2 is what you have 2 do to change the spur gear. Also, i was wondering if the upper deck shaftholders are a good idea to buy. I don't want 2 have the plastic cases, do u have to put spacer's to replace it?

Get the Alloy shaft holders for the Front and Rear it will make the drive shaft more stable if you are in a Crash
You can buy the shorter steering posts to get rid of the Palstic cases

Shorter steering posts are a good idea, I mostly don't bother without the gear cases but if I'm running on a very dirty and or wet track then I'd use them.

Dave- 4 long screws for two shock towers

Dave, no sign of PM or my parcel
Loads of bills and useless circulars and nothing of use!!!

Randman, there's nothing wrong with the bearing set you got with the web, at least build it and run it before dismissing its talents to some soon to be lucky owner.

Herm, gonna have it ready for the next time you race??
We await the verdict

and after you have the PAL or Xenon chassis it's pretty much the same thing ...and a Bonus with the Xenon or the Pal chassis is that you can change the spur gear faster

So far, I like my Xenon/R2 and I doubt I will spend the money on a new car since this is brand new, basicly...I've spent enough money on this car to have 3 cars...no lie. I'll still be racing this car when 2010 hits
