Default dyno?

ok im studying the works of a dyno for a class project. im basically collecting information, then im going to build a minature dyno and run my street car on it. does anyone have any clue how to build a real dyno? i know basically how it works, but have no clue on how to build it.

Here's an interesting way to do it using measurements based on the inertia of a flywheel.

yeah i was thinking of something like that. i know how to do that. i have all the software and stuff. but i wanted to build a scale version of a real dyno. with messuring power at the wheels and not just the flywheel. ive actually done something like this in the past. i did it to test initial motor power. pretty cool thing to do. if your interested in actual power and mechanics, then you oght to try it.

Do some searches, and you will find info on the net. I've seen small motor dyno's that used measurements of torque through drag on a flywheel. Its out there. Just like the real ones, but on a smaller scale.
