Mike, in order to plan this vacation, I need more info. The web site does not have the schedule.
When would be the latest a racer could show up?
When do the Mains finish?
Do you know the airport 3 digit code? Is it ORL or MCO?

Thanks John. James, we should have schedule out real soon. Sunday Road mains are done around 1pm and Sunday Oval mains will be done around 8pm.

Tuesday and Wednesday are full days of practice. We have practice some on Thursday before racing begins. Hope you can make it!

Racers... the race website is updated frequently.... make sure to stop by when you can. Thanks! 50+ sponsors signed up and coming.... looks like a great year ahead. 3+ months and counting.......

For the Snowbirds veterans I got a quick question.

I'm thinking about running three classes at my first snowbirds. 1/12 on-road, 1/12 oval, and touring car. I've heard there is a TON of time between classes so I should be able to pull off racing three classes. I just hate to be rushed when getting my cars ready. Thanks!

Also, does the hotel allow shipments and if so do they charge?

Sign up will be on-line around Thanksgiving. Hang in there!! LOL

We have arranged for no charge shipping to the hotel. The Hotel GM and Sales Manager is aware racers will be shipping stuff and are ready. I can post more on this after the holidays on how to handle it all...

Decision has been made on that. Schedule will be posted next week. If you remember the way the poll went, should be a hint.

Anthony,

Running both is definitely doable. If you are preparing the cars on your own though, you will not get much sleep.

In 2004, I ran Touring Stock, 12th 19T Oval, and Expert 19T Oval. I was lucky enough to make the A in all 3 classes. Finished 3rd in Touring Stock, won 12th scale 19T oval, and finished 8th in Expert 19T Oval.

It just takes hard work. I was trashed when I got home though. That was an intense 4 days. My advice, don't go out drinking the day before racing starts.

So I can show up late on Wednesday and not miss the racing signups? I still didn't get an answer to my question. What would be the latest a person could arrive and still be able to check in for racing?

You will be A-OK showing up Wed night. We are going to have practice some Thursday too so you will get some track time. We will have the complete schedule up hopefully for next Monday's news. Thanks for coming!
