Don't use R/C Type haulers, or hard side boxes.
They just attract attention and cause delays with check ins. I just use normal large pullman type bags, and make a Card Board inside for it. Keep all your bags at weight and you should have no problems with the airport. Don't bother with anything that says "oil" on it, or anything with "cleaner". They take it all. If you really "need" to have your own stuff, just ship a box ground ahead of time. They usually have a good size hobby shop on sight at the birds, so Don't worry.
Like EA says, you can always borrow what you can't bring... From him.

After reading about the baggage handlers going throught and throwing away people luggage in Houston I would like my racing gear to make it to Florida on the same plane that I'm on....
I know that traction compound and cleaner is not allowed but what about packing tools? batteries? bodies? etc...

Hello James.. yes you can mail to the hotel. They are not charging anyone to have boxes shipped there which is great. Make sure to address it like:
Legacy Grand Resort
c/o Snowbirds (your name)
7400 International Drive
Orlando, FL 32819
Hope to have a big update tonight. We have a ton to entries/changes to add. Wife says I need to watch 24 with her so it could be before 8pm or after 10pm
Can't wait for the big race. Entries still open all classes. It is going to be a fun week with so much action going on all week.
