wow, that is an extremely large team.it seems like all or almost all the regular fast guys of all the classes that make the show at all the big races now run for xray.odds of the T2 007 doing well are a given at the big races i guess.

I imagine stock and 19T racers are easier to buy off than the pros, huh?

No doubt. I can't wait until every car in the top 3 mains is an XRay. It's going to be awesome, because then we won't have any more "what car should I buy" questions. It won't even be worth asking. XRay, of course. :-\

all honesty bro,it will be the driver not the car.the top 10 are the top 10.they will do it with any of the top cars.xray just did it smart by putting an xray car under the usual suspects

man,it really sucks when they bring money into it.not saying its a bad thing to get paid but i think it puts too much pressure on these guys.it takes the fun out of a fun hobby.

Oh, no doubt. I think most of us realize it's all about the drivers at this point, and that most cars are very capable. But, perception is that if a car takes up 8 of 10 spots in a main, it must be the best choice. That's the economics of R/C, and how racing works in general.

I'm happy for these guys, for sure, and I hope this decision takes them to great places. The biggest loss in my opinion isn't the car behind their name, but their presence in the threads they frequented before, answering questions, sharing setup knowledge, and generally assisting other drivers by helping them with problems they've encountered in the past. To me, the team should be as much about supporting other drivers as it is about making the "A" at big events.

So, good luck, farewell, and all that.

Wow, the politics of sponsored racing sounds sad, and possibly a little ugly.

and people wonder why touring car racing is getting out of control pretty soon they won't need dealers because they will just be a wholesale wharehouse selling to every decent driver at dealer cost....
