my car makes a horrible griding sound when you turn the wheels over 50% and the gas is on over 30%-100%. I replaced all the bearing and rebuilt all 4 CVD's.

WTF is wrong with this stupid Xray car? Im so fed up with this, i take such good care of it.

How much is your Steering Dual Rate set at, I have mine at about 70%, is it possible that it is the Servo making noise? Also make sure the output shafts on the Multidiff are offset, you don't want them at the same angle, it will cause weel chatter. Other than that the only thing I can think of is something is rubbing, check the servo horn and make sure it isint rubbing the topdeck and that it isn't turning too far, like I said the Dual Rate needs to be turned down on the 007, I was told to go down to 60%, but I found 70% is better for me

I can't drive the car without my dual rate being at 85%, I need it there for me. It has 2 ball diffs, and yes the servo arm hits the top deck when turning. I will space the servo to see if that fixes the issue.

ok so i took the top deck off and held down on the servo saver with my thumb to keep it from twisting. It still makes a horrible grinding/chirping sound when turning all the way. So its not an issue with spacing the servo out further.

I don't know even with the wheels off it still makes the grinding sound but not nearly as harsh when the wheels are off. Its still there nonetheless.

Then I can smell like a hint of something burning/rubbing when it grinds.

Update: With the servo arm removed the sound is still there, thus eliminating the servo arm as being a possible culprit.

That is helpful

Anyways, the servo link was waaaay too long, so I adjusted it to factory 49mm. I reset all my steering thru the M11 and adjusted the EPA's to 110%.

It's still grinding/chirping over 70% turning with throttle on. I cannot figure this out. I will try remove axles 1 by 1.

With the passenger side axle removed the grinding/chirping is still present. The driver side axle was left in the car, once the driver side axle was removed (both axles removed) the grinding went away.

alright well with only the drivers axle installed the grinding is extremely faint. Add a wheel to it and the grinding is horribly loud. The wheel does not touch anything.

Did you grease the cvd hinges? My car used to do it when they were dry. Some AE black grease and the problem was solved.
