The 2mm upper deck they are talking about is for the EU being as that is run on asphault low to mid traction tracks where chassis flex is important, the US is for carpet which has high bite and needs a stiff chassis

Martin Hudy ran the 2mm upper deck when he won 19t at the Birds... I am running one at the Rubber Tire Nationals this weekend and so far I like it (qualified 5th). Its just another tuning option... some guys will like it and others wont depending on your setup and driving style

I tried the new 2mm upper deck today!

Definately seemed to give the car more overall grip and stability!

It's a definate must-have tuning aide for those of you running rubber tires on any surface!

What is the difference between a spool and oneway. I have the EU Ed with the Multi-Diff, does that mean I am running a spool??

Please advise

multi diff comes built as a oneway you add the other parts to make a spool or a solid oneway..

Rubber carpet uses oneway, i think spool gets used outdoors.

Ok I just finished filing down the battery slots. God I hate doing that..

The battery fit in there perfect. When I put in those battery holder things they made the battery sit higher. I am using the battery brace to hold the battery in. Do I really need to use those battery holder things?

Running a spool is like running a solid front axle, no slip or freewheel, like with a diff or oneway.

The holders will keep your batteries inside your car if you get into a big crash... think of them as like a seat belt for your batteries!

Your batteries will thank you because they won't get ejected from the car!
