Bloody hell, If the FIA had anything to do with RC we would be running 4 AA cells and 54 turn motors and plastic tyres.

Here is quote from our supplier Kokam regarding everyone's confusion over all the "Li" technologies:

"I remember some discussion I a forum about LiCo or LiPo vs. LiMn and safety (Co=Cobalt, Mn=Manganese, Po=Polymer; note: Li, Co and Mn are chemical elements). Looking at this we have to keep in mind LiPo or LiCo or LiMn are all the same stuff. These batteries are all based on Li-Ions and a polymer-separator; that's why the cells are flat and not round. All these batteries are in fact Li-Ion batteries." - Kokam

These discussions about Brushless and Li-Po make me wonder what a forum would of been like had they had them back when we took the strings off cars and started using radios to control them. "OH MY GOD WE ARE GOING TO BE KILLED BY CARS FLYING INTO OUR HEADS" "You people are crazy how will we keep cars from butchering our ankles", " I would invest in a crutch factory because we will all be hobbled within in the year" etc. etc.
