Remember, there are no F1 engineers or designers at NASA. They go for the lowest bid which is why they can't afford that much talent.

Marty,
Any order update on the side-by-side F201 chassis yet? I sent my other chassis/order to you over a month ago.

Some how I don’t think his machine has been broken for six months. My patience is at its end and I am sick of his excuses, if he cant meet orders he shouldnt take them.

Monaro_Racing:

Hi,

If you'll read Marty's above posts you'l see he has had programing problems. losing 15 chassis due to a Virus. before that Marty had a controller go out on on of his CNC machines.
I've raced with Marty in the past. He is NOT someone who would take your money and run. (like the guys at CNR) and I know he is backed up with orders for his sedans. (most are custom built to his customers demans). not a easy thing. he cuts all the chassis parts himself, mills alot of the aliumnium himself. he does it all by himself along with holding down a job.
really don't think you guys really know just how much work goes into cutting the graphite, aliumnium, getting all the bits together for each car. and getting good graphite isnt always easy either. there is less than a dozen places to get MilSpec graphite or anything close. I know I order it all the time.
so cut Marty some slack. he's doing the best he can. he's not out to screw anybody over.

Thanks

I just got off the phone with Marty.
He is still having computer problems.
He send out Olie's car and has two more going out this weekend.
He is having problems with the CNC still and has ruined about 10 to 15 chassis.
As soon as the CNC is fixed he will be cutting and shipping all the F1 orders.
Please be paient as he is also working a full time job.
If you have any questions please go to the web site and his phone # is posted there.
Thanks!

OK, enough of this, please.
Instead why don't we talk about the car.
What type of track do you run on(carpet or asphalt).
What motor/ESC.
What battery(type & capacity).
What gearing.
What body & wing combination.
What tires/wheels.
What's your setup like(or what changes to the setup did you do that worked out for you).
post your setup(if you like).
I haven't got mine yet so, until Marty finishes it & sends it to me, this is just about all I can do.
If you post the info It might help others as well as your self.
Go ahead give it a try, it beats anything going on here the last few weeks anyhow. don't you think so?
