Anyone tried the SHV IB 4200 cells?

Eric, Isnt 160 temp for packs like way to High? Should we set our mV down to get teh 130 temp on teh SHV4200's??
Also, After racing..... should we dump the new packs slow? or like at a rapid rate like 20-30 amps? Im confused on this right now, I will be using 2 Pulsar 2's in teh future and what to find out what i should get to discharge/tray teh packs.

Are you charging yoru packs inside in kooler weather or outside in this hot weather? Last week outside, i had to set my charger from 10mV/p to 5mV/p

Inside in my shop its usually 78-80 degrees and when I cycled a pack last night it was 169 degrees when it kicked to delay.

so if i'm reading this right, it sounds like everyone is discharging down to 5.4v, but NO ONE is using a tray for these cells... correct?

what would you do for a big race... charge twice in the same day, or more? is it the same as older cells where voltage goes up in 2nd, 3rd cycle, but runtime goes down?

There it is people, thats what you should do for the IB3800's/IB4200's/IB SHV4200's
EA, I ahve teh Smart tray.. Until I get teh Dyno Pulse Pro, is it ok to discharge the 4200 with a string of bulbs and cuttoff at 20 amps to 5.4? THen tray to .7 with my smart tray the next week?
Also Eric, I generally use 2 packs per class, 2 heats and a main is my clubs format. I reuse my 1st pack for the Main at the end of the night. Should I just stick it on after my frist race in 30 amp pulse mode? then go right into the .7 5 amp tray mode, Let totaly Kool for an hour or so, then charge it? Or should i just leave what ever mah's I have left in it form the first race and just recharge it?

160 degrees without venting? I rarely let my cells get above 120. I guess I've been doing things wrong all along..

As long as there are more than one cell in the pack, there will be equalizing on trays.
Even Lipo's are supposed to be equalized occasionally from what I understand.
