I'm planning to replace my old receiver (r123f) with this new one (r133f) but the description at Tower says that this receiver requires short crystals. Has anyone tried successfully using the regular receiver crystals with this receiver?

I remember this was discussed before but after doing a search nothing came up that would answer my question.

I have that receiver and it works perfectly with the standard crystals.
