Default Xray t4 vs x4

I thinking about upgrading my main car (t4 19) is it better to go for the x4 or stick to the t4 latest model?
My concern about the x4 is that it will be more fraguel then the t4, we have some crashes

No real track, hardwood indoor in the winter seasson and parking lot in the summer.

But competition is hige and everyone is running new vbc d10 but iam happy with xray so no plan on changing brand

The x4 23, 24, 25 from what I seen is pretty durable for the most part but I say the t4 line up is stronger. Steering knuckles have been a weak point I seen on the x4 line. I seen arms snap in a bad crash and it's not cheap there. But part support would be better as it's newer. It depends how cheap a 2021 t4 would be and how many spares u can get.

Here in norway its almost the same price for at late t4 vs early x4 around 200 usd (roller) so price is not a thing.

i have loads of parts for the t4, have not broken anything on my t4 yet. Did have a backup t4 2016 but gave it away to friend, a good excuse to buy someting new

I would just avoid a 2022 x4. A 2021 t4 is a great car, but there is a reason people are using the x4 cars. If you got the parts to support the t4, your already used to the platform, it might be your better bet in your eyes

Bulkheads were too thin and bend easily. If they're cheap enough, might be worth still considering one if you can get the upgraded bulkheads cheap (or if it already has them installed).

If you're happy with the T4 and it’s been solid, just stick with it. The X4’s 2022 model has bulkhead issues, so unless you find a good deal with the upgrades, there's no real need to switch. T4 works, so why change?

If you're lower 2 thirds of the pack, stick to the T4. It is only marginally slower than the X4, but significantly more robust, and requires a lot less mechanical prep to keep close to its top running shape.

When I switched to the X4, I continued to have my son run the T4, even bought a 21 for him (the 20 is for sale BTW) - he's only a couple of tenths slower than me now on his fast laps, however he bangs boards much more often... The T4 will resist this treatment much longer to help him cross the finish line even after a rough run....

I do really appreciate everybody that took there time to answer me on this subject, I think I will end up on buying the t4 21 used with a hw elite and 4,5 motor.

Do someone know where to find the chart on whats part that will fit from different models on the t4?
