The Mtc3 looks very affordable compared to other brands. All it needs is a few wins to turn the table on the rest...Ronald Volker World Champion would probably do it...lol...

How are you determining that? One of my local hobby shops has it up for pre order and they've listed the expected MSRP as $100 AUD more than the MTC2R. That'll put it as one of the more expensive cars on the market.

I guess we will see in 2 weeks LOL!

rcmart has it at 626.90 USD
monaco rc has it at 611.63 USD
Tonisport has it at 699 euro (-VAT is like 590 euro I think?)

Seems very reasonable if these prices are legitimate!

correct me, from what I’m seeing, 1euro is $1.13usd, Doesn’t that equate almost $700usd. Actually $789.00 or so

Sounds like you didn't subtract the VAT.

value added tax .... sorta kinda like sales tax but always included in the price of the kit when sold to a European customer. if sold to a US customer the price of the kit is reduced by the VAT. It can be significant difference. A few years ago when EURO and USD were near par, purchasing from Europe and shipping to US was a deal even with the shipping cost

Value Added Tax is the worst tax by far, and the crap the people in Europe have to go through i.e. pay extra on top of what is a real and fair price for items that are non-European is insane. Especially when its an item that the EU Customs can then make a couple extra $$$ off!

Which is why back in the day American products in the EU where so dang expensive and well still are. Lord forbid you buy clothes or any product in the US, and bring it back with tags still on it...

Americans pay sales tax too which is effectively the same thing as VAT. It's just not included in the list price because the US can't decide on the same tax rate between different states.

List price includes VAT (domestic sales tax), which is 19% in Germany (Tonisport). When shipped internationally you don't pay that tax, so the price is reduced. So your $789 conversion ends up being closer to $660. Still higher than their $590 estimate, perhaps they didn't do the exchange rate correctly, but much lower than your figure.

Im just glad the MTC3 is estimated to be less than $540usd here in Hong Kong

Like that new sheet. It's different, and a bit more clear how to check your setup values so you don't have to check all twice. Also, it's nicely grouped. Except the steering related parameters are sprinkled onto different sections.
Setup wise it looks like high RC and very high diff are the standout features.
