There are a couple of enhancements AXON could make to give the car more promise on high-traction asphalt or black CRC carpet.

Including;
  • high traction chassis option (alum or more rigid weave)
  • alternative top deck option. - less than the standard 2.25 and more than the optional 2.0.
  • optional offset diff eccentrics - to run high/low diffs
  • hardened ‘aluminum knuckle arm’ - basically the steering arm/toe arm, need to be more durable for carpet tracks
  • better post sales information and support
The car is well designed with clear influences from Yokomo, Xray, Reflex Gizmo and Awesomatix. Axon will need to follow up fast with upgrades to compete with a amazingly deep set of touring cars available right now.

Btw, you might want to get a couple of spares of the aluminum knuckle below. They do bend. Suggest putting locktite grub screws in the holes that you dont use.

Ha! So true. I remember going to Snowbirds one year and someone showed me how to use a hotel door jam to straighten a chassis. Anything to finish out the race day!

Has anyone purchased the Axon titanium screw kit. Does it come with top and bottom screws?

Do you guys know if the Yokomo progressive springs would work on this car? Also do you guys think that a split deck conversion could be in the works?

Not with out making a new motor mount that a front deck could attach to.

Questions??

Have you guys run the TC10/3 in USGT or the 25.5T class that requires a small spur? I have difficulty finding a small spur that is not too thick and causes the center pully to bind. The smallest one I can find that fits is the Panaracer 94T spur. I have no luck finding anything less than 90T.
Axon DTS spur is thicker than their TCS v2 spur.

Stick with the thinnest spur you can find AND use some small spacers on the spur shaft to space out and prevent binding.
