Tamiya TC-01 has a class to race in @ UF1 spec LMP
For those of us that have a TC-01 and raced it at TCS we can also race it at UF1 in their spec LMP class starting at the next race.
Hopefully, if enough TC-01 racers show, they could add a TC-01 spec class. Right now any 4-WD touring car chassis is allowed, but everyone must use a Tamiya Toyota Gazoo TS050 LMP body. Here is what UF1 says on their website:
The Spec LMP class will be a support class in the UF1. It will be an open chassis class (for now) - any 4WD production Touring Car chassis will be allowed. The rest of the rules for both the cars and racing are listed below.
Spec LMP
ESC/Motor: Hobbywing XR10 Justock ESC / 21.5T Motor Combo (FN1).
Tires: Gravity USGT Pre-Mounted GT Rubber Tires with GT Wheels (FN2).
Body: Tamiya Toyota Gazoo TS050 LMP (FN3).
Drive: 4WD
Width: 190mm max
Wheelbase: 270mm max
Battery: 2S LiPo, long or short packs
Battery Max Voltage: 8.44v (FN4)
Minimum Weight: 1400g
Minimum Ride Height: 4mm
Suspension: Full independent (FN5)
Driving Aids: Not allowed (FN6)
Hope to see TC-01 racers out there. Maybe even get a Formula E class going if I can dream a little . . .
Cheers!
