Another good question is why that shimming. I race the Cero Ultra on carpet in VTA and the FWD too. Both cars have "Zero" shims under those pivots. Kit is 2mm and a mistake in the manual 6mm screw. It is rally a 8mm screw.

What would be a good recommendation for asphalt front and rear

Kit is 3mm on the rear of the Sport 55

Have you looked into what's limiting the travel yet? Check your droop screws. Don't focus too much on the roll centre shims just yet. If anything large shims there should give you more potential ride height.

It’s not. The manual says 6mm on rear. I tried smaller shims and decreasing droop but no difference. Maybe I need even thicker spacers.

M3x6x3. That's 3mm inner diameter, 6mm outer diameter, 3mm tall.

Are the droop screws contacting the chassis? If not, might be shock length. Disconnect the shocks and see if the arms travel further.

I stand corrected, the Ultra is 3mm.
After measuring some other brands of cars we (local hot shoes and me) determined that that the 3Racing pivot ball was much taller than cars like the X-Ray and Awesomatix. Really making a different roll center. So I took out all of the shims and ran the car. A huge improvement. Yes that is a huge drop but it just made it match the other brands. I race exclusively on black carpet though.

I have been running on carpet with no shims and it's a totally different car in a good way.

Default Canadian nats

Is anyone attending the Canadian Nats next week that has some spare V1 parts by chance? I’ve been to tq and race VTA for swingshafts and some typical wear items and they’ve been out of stock for months. Thank you

hi guys after doing the scale of my cero I find myself in 50/50 whereas I would like 52 rear and 48 front. The problem is none of the weights that I have pass between the lipo and the rear triangle and the variator and the rear triangle. I need at least 10gr on each side. 15 would be too much to have the desired distribution. Do you have any ideas or weight references? the best would be rectangular considering the available space thanks in advance

You can find Tungsten weights on Amazon. Worked great for me. I'm running VTA with mine, so had to add a ton! Put a chunk behind the motor mount, in the center under the belt.

You have a photo of your installation with references personally I can't even find anything on Amazon. I need around 30gr at the rear to have a 52/48 distribution

Is the ESC behind the motor?
