According to the German forum the Top positions after 4th round of qualifying are

1-Marc Rheinard
2-Andy Moore
3-Masami Hirosaka
4-Ronald Völker

All of the three European TRF are in top ten positions. Beside Marc this are David Spashett and Hupo Hönigl.

Hara seems having radio interferences like other drivers using Futaba radio.
Brushed motors are faster than brushless with Ronald Völker the fastest guy on brushless.
No information on american drivers.

It's the first race for Ronald on his LRP Brushless powered Cyclone. He switched from Tamiya/Orion only a few days ago.
There are only 3 brushed cars in front of the first brushless car and all cars are driven by world famous drivers....i don't think brushless is slower...

Top Ten after round 4
1-Marc Rheinard-TRF
2-Andy Moore-HB
3-Masami Hirosaka-Yokomo
4-Ronald Völker-HB
5-Teemu Leino-Schumacher
6-Hupo Hönigl-TRF
7-Jilles Groskamp-Xray
8-Atsushi Hara-HB
9-Victor Wilck-Xray
10-David Spashett-TRF

Ronald and Jilles are on brushless. I think Victor Wilck runs for LRP so maybe he´s on brushless too.

Jilles running brushless?? Doesn't he run for Trinity? Why would he be running brushless unless I missed huge news from Trinity??

From the pics, it doesn't look like there are any Americans there...

Probably running brushless so he can get more track time and concentrate on car set-up rather than skimming the motor etc.

I think that the rules do not prohibit the use of prototype equipment. Thus it is possible that he is using a brushless prototype.

Isn't this the purpose of the warm up? To test new things on similar conditions?

I just think it's highly unlikely that Trinity has a brushless system, otherwise like I said...that would be huge news. But I seriously doubt it...come on photographers...spy shot oppurtunity here.

At the French forum they said Jilles is using brushless. But I don´t know what system. For sure it´s no Trinity. So maybe LRP or Novak.
