personally i think the tires sucked, but so does my driving, so go figure, but you also have to consider that the put addiitive after practice on friday, and after qualifing on Satuday, and still in the morning the track was a bit on the Green side

It seems as most drivers used brand new ones for every run, but Viktor Wilck, who put in the fastest laptime of the race in the 3:rd A, used the same set for all qualifiers, one practice and 3 A-finals. Thatīs good.

Victor was very fast.

There where problems with the tires, because variations of grip came from tires?

Not always the new tires were faster.

A bit shame for WC tires.

Maybe there were no Losi drivers. I think there are no European Losi factory drivers anymore and none of the US drivers attended.

Some classy driving there from Rheinard - as you'd expect - looks like he lost focus a little with such a big lead though to let P2 & P3 close in.

That Italian track looks to have its share of bumps and ripples, but nicely laid out nonetheless.

Can anyone shed some light on the problems the futaba users had? What was causing it?

I know the Sorex and Take Off importers were told they did not need to bid on supplying the race tires as the track had already chosen Ride tires. Apparently the track has decided on the tire to use very early.

Its a shame that at a race of this level drivers have to struggle using sub par tires.

The article mentioned Billy Easton wasn't there. Billy wanted to go, but he recently had all of his RC equipment stolen, and he does not have a chassis sponsor yet.
