Even an old 17.5 motor will make a F1 car zip. The racing becomes very obvious - who can use the power best and not overshoot!

It seems most clubs took the conservative approach of using 25.5/21.5 with rubber tires and,,,for a while F1 was back. Yet now many F1 clubs have faded away.
F1 was foam tires for years. Rubber tire seemed to help grow the class. I know a lot of people were turned off by the truing and other hassles of foam.

It went to 25.5 from 21.5 because even 21.5 was getting too fast for good racing. I was pretty ambivalent about changing motors, but when the switch was made, mains got way cleaner, even at large events. It worked.

With the current stuff, 17.5 and foams will be missiles. I tried to run a HPI Super F1 on 10.5 (old silver Novak motor) probably 12 years ago. It was ridiculous, even being 200 mm and on pan car width foam.

The guys at my local track love to go super fast, to see the car accelerate to warp speed and then try to brake hard. They want to have fun and slipping and sliding is a big part of it.
Unfortunately your comment about good racing is all too true - in our last race a car overshot and flew over the hose and took out another car. But that is pretty rare, mainly because we normally only have 3 or 4 cars on track.

You want to go superfast in a F1 car, then put in a 3.5t mod motor(like in my Corally f1) and let it rip....Bye bye 1/8 nitro....

Although I prefer the higher speeds of 21.5 / rubber F1 I agree that 25.5 is the better choice for healthy racing, Especially at the club level where there is greater spread in driver ability within the same heat. I enjoyed the years of foam f1 but I certainly dont miss cutting tires, and adjuting to maintain rollout. Foam tires increase the learning curve & entry barier for newer races with higher speeds being the only gain. A decent rubber spec tire would be the best option. The past several generations of ride tires have been solid outdoors and I would expect their new VR tires to be no different. shimizu tires have been the go to for carpet for a long time, is there really a need to chage from that?

Looks like a front tire - try 1 degree camber. Just went through this about 2 weeks ago.

The graining looks like what you get with high vinyl content tires like those found included with tamiya kits. If the tires dont have that vinly feel when new I would try a less agressive tire sauce.

Did you break the sway bar mount or the sway bar itself?
Either way, you can try the Exotek website or AMain hobbies. Buy a new one... Done.
