1. Sauce as early as you can. Usually full rear and only 1/4 of front tire (inside edge).
2. If you have heater, put them on as soon as you sauce. I put some foil or a paper towel on the tire then put the warmer on. I usually heat to about 110-125F on exotek tires.
3. Right before you go out to race, take off the heaters and wipe down the tires with a rag or towel. You don't want any wet sauce on them when you go out. wet sauce doesnt give you grip. i see so many cars go out with wet tires

The sauce is breaking down the rubber to make it softer and increase grip. The longer you leave it on, the more grip you will have. Depending on your surface, track temp, ambient temps, driving style etc. you need to tune this process to make sure you don't overheat your tires and lose them halfway through the run.
much appreciated! I’ve been told 10 minutes and remove haha. Didn’t see any change in grip with that. So I guess 30 minutes and some good heat to it makes all the difference.

Some say leaving them on for too long will break down the rubber too much and basically ruin the whole tire. But Ive left them on for hours and even until they have dried and dont notice much difference. You will need to try it out yourselves and see what works for you

Every sauce seems to be different in terms of how long to leave on to be effective and/or greasing the tire out if left on too long.

only way to figure it out is test the sauce you use and record time and grip levels.

Default Exotek F1Ultra R5

Thoughts?

redrc.net/2024/03/exotek-f1ultra-r5-110-formula-kit

Thinking of getting CW kit at a discount and wait for the upgraded parts to be available.

No hybrid chassis option (yet?) though.
So conflicted 😐

Anyone have a pdf of the instructions for the CW upgrade or the CW manual?

Thank you,
