Default Losi 8ight 4.0 conversion to electric GT ?

Losi 8ight 4.0 conversion to electric GT ?

I have a great Losi 8ight 4.0 buggy roller that I would like to convert to an electric GT car. I have read every thread I can find on the topic, but mostly they are older threads. Those threads usually recommended starting with the late model L8ight as it already had the lower shock towers and body mounts. So my question:

1) Has anyone mounted those L8ight shock towers and body posts to a Losi 3.0/4.0 buggy?
2) If I can find some, do you thing they could be adapted even if thay don't bolt right on?
3) Does anyone have any other solutions for this problem short of making my own?

I'm just going to use it for fun - no racing - so I don't want to spend $600 on a new GT kit.

Thanks for your input!

Clay

I did that a while back, wish i never sold that car. Finding the parts like towers, shocks and bumpers are going to be hard ad expensive.
