Whats the latest design trends in the X-ray besides equal belt length? Awesomatix def is ahead of the design but the if-142 got some new stuff as well.

- much longer suspension arms
- much lower ARB mounting
- the option to mount the shocks lower on the new arms

The longer arms on the Xray also position the heavy inner hinge pins, arm mounts and bulkheads closer to centre line of the chassis.

I will say that I really like the ability of the Infinity car to change the effective spring and damping rate with those arm and shock tower inserts - very trick! An ability that the Awesomatix has enjoyed for many years now.

Any feedback on this car?

This car is turning heads on asphalt. Wallace Motorsports Team driver Dave Vera broke the stock track record in FL with the car his first weekend out with it. Ralph Burch is on the Wallace Motorsports team as well so we have key US drivers developing the car on different surfaces. Wallace Motorsports is the main distributor of Infinity in the US, https://wallacemotorsports.net/

We have seen these kits fly off the shelves for build quality and how fast the car is. I myself picked up .3-.4 tenths with just changing cars. Feel free to reach out to me or anyone else on the Wallace Motorsports team. You can follow us on FB as well, https://www.facebook.com/Wallacemotorsports.net

We are seeing this as a great option as well. Being able to laterally move the suspension closer to the outer wheels and maintain the same dampening rate is proving to generate great overall traction.

The kit looks beautiful and highly refined but holy cow it's expensive. Honestly, I wanted to buy it but it is hard to justify choosing this over an Awesomatix when it doesn't have some of the latest design trends that Xray has. Still, I'm looking forward to regular racer feedback on this gorgeous car!

We saw first hand over the weekend a fast Awesomatix driver who just switched to the new Infinity was .2 tenths faster and broke the track record his first weekend out with the car. Its turning heads in FL and with key drivers in the US, its only a matter of time before you see these cars more frequently.

Have not run a race with it yet , But my shake down run I see the potential in this car!!!

i have been out with mine 2 times, have yet to get a full race day due to weather, and an electrical brown out gremlin i was fighting. That said the car is pretty fast out of the box, hopefully i solved my brown outs and get some quality track time this week.

raced mine last night on a super tight indoor asphalt track. roughly 50x45 layout, so its super tight and super high risk for 21.5 tc. Ended up on some sorex 32s and the car was really good after moving the rear inserts to 1 up blocks and putting .5 down in both front blocks. I wanted to get out today at a larger outdoor track but just couldnt make it happen. the car is feeling really good. I was one of 2 cars to get into the low 7s (7.2) i believe and the fastest lap was a 7.18.
