You Got it! You just need to dig a little.
Now you just need to send an email request specifying 1/10th scale Stick On.
I still prefer to paint the main colors on my car bodies and use the decals to complete the color transitions and sponsor markings....

I source & assemble those myself. It's a custom design using surface mount LEDs. It's the same LEDs that I use in the F1 Rain Light module which I sell.

It would be tricky to get LEDs small enough to mount on the back of the stabliser, but I've developed some thin boards with a pair of sideview LEDs as vertical rear lights that might be close to what you're looking for. Not that I've looked exhaustively, but it's harder to get tiny sideview LEDs with good brightness. I'm always keen to play with ideas,so if you need help, let me know.

Will you be selling this light for the TC-01 too? 😃

That's the plan. Work is absurdly busy, so I don't know exactly when. Based on some other feedback, I've tinkered with some alternatives that are specific to the TC-01.

Actually, the one I favour is not shown here, but similar to the one on the left with a couple of extra LEDs. The LEDs are smaller than ones I've used in the past, so it will test my skillz.

PDR makes excellent electronics. I own a few of his creations and they work flawlessly.

Those rear lights I think will look fine. I don't think this is off-topic because, from what I understand the Toyota Hybrid body will fit the TC-01 chassis, what about some white lights for this...

I'm thinking some little PC boards could just stick right to the Lexan insert, instead of the decals, without needing a 3d printed part.

Looks like there are some rear lights low on the body too.

I don't have one of those bodies to measure - how big a board do you reckon could fit? Just browsing my favourite supplier and there are white SMD LEDs that might do the trick. The really bright ones are a bit larger at 3.5x2.8mm (would be nice to fit two in there).

For the lower rear lights, I've already grabbed some reverse mount red ones that would allow the PCB to sit flush with the polycarbonate. Anyway, here's what I've decided to try for the moment on the back of the TC-01 - boards and LEDs have been ordered. If they work, I'll let you know

How are others putting in the rear body clips for this car?

I‘m absolutely stunned that Tamiya has yet again made a major oversight on such a simple thing. You pretty much have to run an extra hole in the rear tower to push the body clip up and over the inner rear lip or cut the body clip to fit.

I have thought of simply drilling a hole thru the post front to rear but I really just want to use standard body clips as making custom ones isn’t very handy if I lose them on track

Unfortunately I already cut off the extra hole and can’t simply just clip it on as intended, so I did the simple solution of drilling it in at 90 degrees

Very nice paint job, even though I hope to never see an electric Ferrari in my life ; they would definitely lost their mind if they do so

Does anybody know why exactly these D5 upper caps are used?

I’m assuming its so that the screw doesn’t fall off when the uprights break in a crash.

But I have seen some people run without them
