Default 1/10 Scale Body Wishlist. What would you like to see?

Well, this evening a friend told me they wanted to build a copy of Aging Wheels "big" car. Happily I was able to find a Trabant 600 in two different wheelbases.

A car that we're missing is the DeLorean.... I'd love a XJ6 body. Audi A/R/RS4. What about GM B bodies that aren't Slash sized? I'd really like a Kia Pride/Mazda 121/Ford Festiva, but that's a very personal thing. (First cars and all that..)

So while while it's on my mind, what cars would you want to see?

While we're at it, if someone mentions a car, and you know it's been made, tell them who made it, instead of calling them an idiot. :-)

Ford Fiesta ST for mini chassis and a 911RSR from 2018 Lemans.

There aren't many good mini bodies, I think the ST would be perfect in. 225 wheelbase. Yes I drive one for real.

There aren't any good 911 bodies anymore. HPI is way outdated and impossible to find, Tamiya is outdated too. Need a 2018 RSR for USGT, not a TC body with a 911 face on it (Audi/R-tek).

Good FWD bodies are not in abundance. The Fiesta ST is a good one. Mitsubishi FF. I believe there's a Focus RS body out there... but it's top heavy. Lotus Elan?

Taurus SHO? Toranado?

911's are hard. The difference in front and rear track makes that tricky.

Sunbeam, Tiger. That body would look really cool on a 'M' chassis. Back in the day (early '60's) it was offered with a 289 v-8.

Cant you use the McAllister mustang?

I know I would love to see a modern challenger, they do run in the Trans Am series now.

DTM bodies would be cool, maybe we could get them on the USGT list...

I believe a lot of the DTM bodies came out as Tamiya Models. Which ones did you want to see?

A few people have mentioned this but wanted to agree that the current Tamiya M chassis bodies are BORING. They all look like grocery getters to me. I feel the lack of good bodies has hurt the M chassis class...but I digress.

for the M chassis class I'd love to see these cars from the 60's-80's:
-Porsche 914-6
-Ford Capri ..a GT/race version w/ wide wheel wells ('74)
-Pontiac Fiero
-VW Scirroco
-Opel GT
-Mustang II (the short/compact one that came out in the 70's ..a neighbor's older brother drove one when I was a kid).
-Triumph Tr8 "the wedge"
-Mazda pickup 620
-Mazda RX3

I am guessing a few of these probably exist as RC bodies??
(if so please let me know)!

Tamiya has the widebody capri, as the Zakkspeed Ford. They also do the Scirroco.

Pickups are underserved in general. There's nastruck, but not much else. I believe a few are coming out as crawler bodies.

There's a lack of RX's that aren't "7" models.

I did not know a scirroco was available, ..okay, now I got to go do some image searches!
yeah, would be nice to see some pickups on the race track, M-chassis class seems like the obvious place in my opinion.

I wonder if anyone will ~do~ a good pickup. all of the pickups I've messed with, all had durability issues. A "Bugyra" style cab top on body might work for that.....

The MST EG6 Civic I got, is ~better~ than the CRX body I got from Tamiya. It borders on ~actual model~ quality.

While we're at it, maybe wishlists should be specific:

VTA:

USGT:

Mini:

TC:

Ooooh, here's one F1. But I think those are mostly covered. :-)
