As is with the way the bumper, foam, and carbon mount are on the T4f. It’s not on “drop on” fit.

I can edit my original post.

I could also probably get you a better pic with a trimmed body this Saturday.

I have 60g added right now. Will probably be more once I put a 25.5 in.

Thats with a standard shorty pack (200g)

so if this weight rule goes up to 1250 as the NASRA is proposing you will have 110g in your car ... speak now or forever hold your piece .
Obevously I’m not in favor or the rise in weight

This is with a 200g shorty, not a LCG. And a heavy spec motor. And my body weight is at 85g per the rules.

With this TSR 25.5 I have, I’ll have to add another 30g.

I’ll do what is required, but no, I don’t want to add 100-130g to my car...

I gathered some RTR weights for popular/available cars and provided that information to people that could use that information. Aside from that, I’ll be happy to help promote this class in any way I can. I’ve been on a rules committee for a RC related group before. Frankly it isn’t fun, so I tend to try and take a helpful approach.

Also, anyone wanting a quick and easy way to mount a fan with parts you may already have.

•Graphite steering plate 302570 (or you could use a chassis stiffener 306530)
•fan mount 306410-O (or a servo post)

Mount it to a free motor hole and bam! I’m still going to trim it, or maybe use the other hole. But I think this should work

The center brace let’s you use two mounting holes in the motor, but you loose a little adjustment.

Battery mount...easy peasy. Drilled a 3mm hole in it and screwed the fan on. Cut the tab off and its fully adjustable.

Making more and more progress each time I take this thing out. Changed up a couple things and got the car even faster and more consistent.

•battery plate under the electronics (instead of the 60g stack I was running before)

•changed the way I glued the front tires. Previously I had a 1/8th inch bead just above the letters on the sidewall. This made it super easy to drive, but I was consistently searching for initial turn in. So today I glued them to 59.5 like I do my TC tires. And it came alive, I wish I had more time today, there’s a couple small changes I’d like to try.

My finished fan mount. Ended up trimming the end off the steering plate for a cleaner look.
