2019 MILE HIGH INDOOR CHAMPS - 5280 Raceway - April 11-14 2019
Here are the details about the 2019 Mile High Indoor Champs. Thanks to all of you that completed our survey after last year’s race. We heard you, and we’ve made adjustments based on your feedback.
Classes
Mod Sedan
17.5 Sedan
21.5 Sedan
21.5 USGT
Mod 1/12
13.5 1/12
Can-Am Stock 1/12 (58/72 gearing)
17.5 GT-R
Can-Am F1
Can-Am classes are a handout motor that you will rent during the race. You don’t have to worry about bringing a motor for these classes, one will be provided to you at the race. Entry fees will remain the same as last year ($60 first, $40 each additional), however, Can-Am classes will require a $25 motor rental fee per class. These classes will be limited to 30 entries each. If you want to run one, be sure to sign up early because space will be limited, and this race has a history of selling out. This is only a motor rental, you will need to return it once the race is over.
Entries will open on Wednesday, January 16th at 5:00 PM Mountain. (7 Eastern, 4, Pacific). Signups will close for Can-Am classes on March 11th. This is also the last day for refunds. We need time to get the handout motors from the manufacturers. You can sign up for the race at http://milehighindoorchamps.com.
Qualifying will be rocket round. We’ll be going back to single A-mains, as this allows us to run only 2 rounds on Saturday, something many of you said you prefer. We’re going to put the race layout down a week before the event. This will allow the track some time to groove up prior to people arriving, so we don’t waste a whole practice day on a green track. The race director/announcer is TBD.
This a tentative schedule of the event. Open times will be firm. Close times might be extended depending on staff availability, but we will not close any earlier than the listed times.

Jason, we are not limiting the number of tires for stock 1/12 this year. you may purchase as many as you like. all qualifiers and mains must be run on sticker sets purchased at the track. the spec tire will be crc, purple stripe.
