2nd do you all feel that the AMX diff and Spool are better then the gizmo parts? Or does this offer more Adjustments with the car?
There are a couple of posts in this thread about measuring. There is also a video explaining it on my Facebook page. The castor doodles offered by others dont fit the car. Ive got a guy working on some.

No advantages to the amx parts vs the Gizmo parts, just a running change.

Been getting a few questions about how the car is built. Until the official pictures can be put up, here are a few more of my car. As this was a pre production car, It should be noted that a few of the parts on my car are still the prototype parts (such as the sway bar links). However, the kit parts will be similar, just a bit more user friendly.

Good eye! Yes I have some tungsten weights that i use from various cutting tools. I got them from a local machining shop. The plates mounted under the pcs brace are the pinewood derby tungsten weights.

I’ve got the amx diff conversions coming for my cars, have you guys been running the same wt oil in the amx diffs vs the gizmo diffs? I’m usually 1-4K in my gizmo diffs.

It depends if you are doing the small diff shim mod or not (if you don't know what this is, read here).

If you are not, 3k-5k will be good for stock classes on carpet. If you are, 5k-7.5k is probably the way to go.

Well ran the mid motor for the first time today and all I can say is Cristian hit a home run!! Ran the same set up same car in 17.5 and USGT ran 4-5tenths faster per lap in both classes and the corner speed was amazing ! Next time out I’m only racing one class so I can fine tune the set up

I just did a couple of short videos. The first is some changes i made since i ran the car the first time. Predominately for high bite black carpet. The last video is the mounting of a DBX.
