They really dont need to "change" anything to go to the pro version. All they need to do is just move parts on the XQ1 and transplant it to the XM1S. Not sure if they will go that overboard with the upgrades but Im pretty sure it will not be $200.

I just did a quick check on RCmart to list out all the parts needed to turn the XM1S into the "pro" and the parts alone cost well over $350. Factor in the base price of the XM1S, give it a nice 30-40% discount you are still looking at $275-$320

Xpress Aluminium Layshaft Bulkhead $13.90
2x Xpress Aluminium Wheel Hub $18.00
Xpress Aluminum Front and Rear One Piece Upper Clamp $53.80
2x Xpress Execute XQ1 Aluminium One Piece Lower Bulkhead $72.00
Xpress Execute Aluminium 2 Piece Suspension Mount $15.40
Xpress Execute XQ1 Aluminium FF Lower One Piece Suspension Mount $11.50
Xpress Execute XQ1 FR One Piece Suspension Mount $13.00
Xpress Execute Aluminium RR Lower One Piece Suspension Mount $11.50
Xpress Execute XQ1 Aluminium 5mm Ackermann Steering Plate $12.00
Xpress Execute XQ1 XM1S Aluminium Steering Post $7.50
Xpress Execute XQ1 Aluminium Servo Mount $20.50
Xpress Execute XQ1 3.0mm Graphite Floating Servo Holder $15.40
2x Xpress Execute XQ1 Aluminium Low Profile Shock Set $41.00
Xpress Execute XQ1 Aluminium Solid Axle $17.90
Xpress Execute XQ1 Aluminium Solid Layshaft $15.50
Xpress Execute XQ1 XQ1S XM1S Anti Tweak Battery Holder $28.00

Wow!!!! Nice work. I didn’t realize that much had become available already. Yeah, looks like I guessed way low. I’m good with the basic version.

Oops I forgot to add a few more items...I thought I Included all the graphite parts
Xpress Graphite 2.25mm Bottom Chassis $55.00
Xpress Graphite 2.0mm Upper Deck $20.00
Xpress Graphite 3.0mm Front Shock Tower $10.00
Xpress Graphite 3.0mm Rear Shock Tower $12.00
Xpress Execute XQ1 Front/Rear Camberlink Mount $16.60

So the new price would be $480 just for the parts alone, plus the price of the XM1S, give it a 40% discount, your looking at $350

I'd expect it to be priced similarly to the XQ1. It's got the full carbon and single-piece-alloy bulkheads just like the big brother. The only thing that I know is missing is the one piece motor mount.

It's all from the XQ1 car. The XM1S is basically just a XQ1S with different chassis plates and plastic suspension arms. The drivetrain and bulkheads are identical.

I would think it would be pretty expensive too. Probably $300-350?

The TOP Sabre 4WD mini was not a lot cheaper than the full size 1/10th Sabre. It had a lot of aluminum and carbon also but was still $300-330.

I expect the 3racing pro mini will be quite a bit cheaper than the Xpress.

Yeah, I too expect it to be around $300 range which is fine. Hope they include the body mounts for the Tamiya Rover Mini body.

Xpress XM1 (pro version) is up on pre-order at RCmart. $350 (shipping probably $20-30). Ouch, I'll stick with my sport for now. All I really want was the ball bearing swaybars/bulkheads (stock setup is too sloppy to be effective).

Had not seen the pre order yet. Yeah at that price it’s a definite no go for me.

I’ve got no complaints with the sport version. I held off on installing the swaybars for now.

I'm betting the 3racing M4 Pro will be about $200 seeing as how their 2K18 is only $230. RC Mini.net says the performance was close to equal comparing the sport versions of both.

RCmart had it listed at $218. Thought couldn’t pre order.
