Thanks Randy. It looks like my 7.1 1up racing steering will fit on the new car?

And the PCS is not included, nor is a DTC rear end. That still has to be purchased from 1up.

I think AE made some good updates to the car, but they missed the mark not including some of these features that are available on other cars for the same, or just marginally higher price.

There seems to be a lot of loyalty to TA. New models out, just like a new iPhone model.

Same with XRay. Soon as the 2018 model was available, the previous years hit the used market. Soon the 2019 model will be released and the cycle will continue.
At least Associated gave the 7.1 a couple years.

ARS comes standard with the Xray and we very rarely use it a bit like the ULP shocks. I see the TC7.2 as the most complete asphalt car on the market. I guess if you want a carpet car then you have to buy the alloy chassis and thin top deck for it.

I think out of the box you can get a pretty solid asphalt set-up with the carbon chassis Xray. The ULP shocks don't hinder performance as much as they impact driving style - this is more preference than lap times. I think I will sell one of my 18' Xray T4s and give this a go...

The ULP definitely hinders performance on a bumpy track or if you have a track were you need to ride the kerbs. For outdoor racing in the UK the SLP is the shock of choice. You also have to buy the alloy steering arms and steel cups for the Xray as well. I skipped the T4 18 and kept my 17 car this year. I will be changing as well
