They have a alu chassis in flex and solid now. I looked into this conversion but due to AE leaving on-road I went a different direction. I do think the design looks great. I do like the innovation of the mid-motor mount and the fact the conversion looks very promising there aren't a lot of aftermarket parts to get it to work.. If I still had a AE chassis I would be all over this for carpet season on black carpet. since other tracks are bring back the gray carpet back I see carbon chassis becoming the norm again.

Anyone know what happens when you raise or lower the front and rear diffs? How does that effect handling? Is there any videos or articles on this?

I have two Rebellion mid motor 7.2 conversions. One with full brass weight aluminum chassis and the other solid aluminum chassis.
Recently acquired and in the process of setting them up for my driving style and track condition. Moved up from the 6.2. Moving them around from USGT, sedan and next as a VTA to decide where to run them.
I'm not sold on the retail price of the mid motor, as I got mine used with a ton of parts (thanks Mr. Pravata!). I’ll know more after this weekend’s club race.
What info, specifically, are you looking for?

It's a shame they have finally pulled the plug in the TC7.2.

Definitely...they are good cars. Even though Onroad might not be as popular here in the States compared to overseas. There was still a good following and supporting tracks. Last week I descided to sell all 3 of my AE cars for fear of parts not being available or limited in the future.

I personally think they have dropped a clanger. They could have done a mid conversion kit cheaply without the longer arms etc... which wouldn't have cost them a lot to make and would have sold in decent numbers. They also could have done a FWD mid conversion, this is looking like it will be one of the biggest class over the next couple of years. I also think they need to launch a proper ready to run line up to help fund the racing side, bashing is a much bigger market and growing rapidly with the likes of Facebook and Youtube.
