I have been testing my car all day on black crc carpet and the most significant change I've made that made the car rotate beautifully was to put 15k in the diff, in mod the car just comes around the corner so quickly but predictably.

I did a 1000 lap testing and training marathon with my TC7.2 this weekend.
Like I mentioned several times before, the car is a pleasure to drive. I would even say, it is the best chassis I have ever driven (coming from TC5, TC6, TC6.1, TC6.2, T4‘2015 and T4‘2017).
I am still very close to the standard setup, with exception to the rear toe in, which I reduced to zero (inner mounts three dots pointing outside and outer mount three dot pointing inside) and the use of the pitch control system. The former change sounds quite drastic, but the car has such a well balanced flex, that it just will turn better, without becoming snappy. So reducing toe is a very effective instrument if you have understeer. The latter change surprised me. The car got better and more calm to drive on the edge. It also looks very slow and allows you to better control it. Overall it became faster by a full tenth per lap over the whole run. So on a medium to high grip (ETS) carpet, you should give it a try.

I thought you were looking for AE specific weights. I think AMain has the best selection by far. Just search, weights, and shop away!

I just picked up a 7.2. Going to run it in USGT, Black CRC carpet. The track is not huge. What FDR do you guys recommend? Seems with the setups on petitRC, 4.0 for USGT is close.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Comfortable range is 3.8-4.2 depending on track size/layout, and motor temps after a full run.

Vertical top deck, like on the old car is better in low to medium grip conditions, cold weather and also in higher bite asphalt and medium grip carpetwith Aluminum chassis for a little more side to side flex, but better fore-aft rigidity.
I also like running VTD in Modified indoors on carpet. It makes the car easier to drive. I don’t think it’s faster in this situation, but it makes it much easier to drive consistently. It decreases response slightly without necessarily making the car understeer. It is a good option for those that like a safer car in mod and super stock classes.
