Don't want to spend $$$ on a spur that I can't get the motor far enough across to mesh with the pinion.

Thanks
You can definitely fit a larger pinion I have ran a 54 on my t4. You just have to push the top deck up a little bit and make sure the pinion isn't hitting the sides of the top deck.

Running on an outdoor asphalt track with medium traction. Looking for some advice on chassis weights. Is there a weight that is standard or recommended or just the typical weights used to balance out the weight of the chassis?

On the ‘19 the team typically ran a 52/48 or 51/49 f/r distribution. Usually 10g under each side of the swing rack, and a big 30g or so weight under the belt in the center, then add more wherever needed to balance it left to right.

hope this helps

l have seen final drives as low as 1.80. A friend stuffed a 70t pinion with a 70t spur into an Xray knockoff.

So I have currently bought a Medius conversion for my Xray and was looking for a base carpet set-up. Or are people keeping there existing set-ups on the car. Also what spur gears work with this beside the arrowmax and axon gears.

Hi Guys, I'm new to Touring Cars and just got myself a used T4'19. Can someone point me in the direction of the basic asphalt set-up sheet? The link on Petit-RC doesn't work.

Many thanks,

And while we're at it...I'm going by the Initial Asphalt Set-up for the '19 that Xray provides on the website. Any idea if the bushings are .5 or 1?

not usually. It seems to make the car react quicker to steering input, but takes away a lot of steering mid-corner.

Default Drive belts

In some parts of the world you can buy a person for what xray wants for the drive belts. What other brand belts are compatible with the 19.

Plenty of other brands are compatible, Vigor, Radtec, Zerotribe, Yeah Racing just to name a few. Belt sizes are 3mmX189mm rear and 3mmX513mm front

Running on an outdoor asphalt track medium grip and the car has a bit of off power push in the corners. Any suggestions? Was thinking less rear toe or lighter rear diff oil
