Most of the guys here suggested that I run the stock setup that comes from the box.

if you go on the top web site you will find the part numbers and what they are from and some proper trick red bis the gold looks pretty horrific if you ask me.(just my opinion)

It also uses Yokomo bits so it like 3 cars in one but after seeing how it handles on rubber. It a Frankstein weapon

stuey- the gold alu parts don't look that bad, trust me!
luke-what sort of track do you want a setup for?
Last Sunday was the 1st round of the Carpet Masters series, held on a fast, but tight track, meaning any trouble with traffic could really cost you some serious time. My car was handling very well in 19T but I had trouble with traffic in my first (and best) run. Even after losing half a lap ( ) I was 4th after round 1 behind the likes of Olly Jefferies. Unfortunately, continued problems meant I didn't improve, and everyone else did meaning I ended up qualifying 12th. Even so I was very happy with the car, and it is improving rapidly

shock building
Hi Jimmy,
Well done, you seem to have the scythe going very well, i was 3rd at the BIWS behind you, and your car seemed dialed! and very smooth. Just built the scythe, and built the shocks as shown, seemed very hard and even borrowed some softer springs, car was very bouncy. In the bottom of the shock it said to put the red rubber seal in folloed by the black spacer.
Did you build the shocks as instructed or have you any tips on building them? also what weight oil did you use, i used 30w and seemed hard.
Thanks Luke Humphrey

ok, ill try that, please can you help me set up wise at BIWS2 so we can have scythe 1st and 2nd lol please???

Luke, they are fine built standard. 30wt isn't hard at all, Jimmy and I have been running oil around twice as thick as that with no troubles. Are you sure the shocks are built right as it is easy to trap air in the Yokomo shocks when not built using the correct "technique" Have a look at the Yokomk BD instructions on the CML website for better information on how to build them.
