Asking for a friend. LOL
3 consecutive laps timed at 38.6 or better. It was based off the weeks previous times on the same layout and conditions as well as what guys did that day. I believe it will be the same plan at the next qualifier/practice. Keep the same layout as the week before so there is a base time to set the minimum. So come run the week before too for a little line practice.

It took the driver's a little time to get their rhythm, but once they found the right tire combo it was on. Actually kind of cool seeing them tweak and tune - I ran some laps as well and it was quite rewarding to finally hit that target time.

Default ETS Formula Class

FYI Euro Touring Series is scoring a Scorpion Formula Class. It is good seeing race reporting on a formula class again. Here is their rules link if you care to look:

Euro Touring Series » Rules for the 2017/2018 season

Here are a couple of reports from Red RC for those of you in the F1 ranks that may have not seen them. You'll need to open the report and scroll down on both of them.

Euro Touring Series » Hagberg & Orlowski complete podium at ETS season finale

Euro Touring Series » Coelho caps off ETS title season with win No. 4

Regards. AC

For the guys running at TQ- how close are the Ride GR type tires vs the Shimizu tires lap time wise? Are Rides a few 1/10 slower or just not competitive?

It was a blast today. Can't quite get the rotation I am looking for in the car but it got better every race. Tried to do the "consistency" thing today and not overdrive it.

good stuff for sure
what happened in that F1 main?
DOH!
Sorry Lethal aka Leester, found myself going backwards into the keyhole section and collected you on my way thru.
Another case for petitioning to get multiple mains in RC racing

What’s the best tire combo at Cal Raceway?

Hi Steven,

Fast easy to drive tires are still Tamiya kit fronts and 72 rears. For more aggressive cornering 73 or Kit fronts with Ride GR rears but your suspension has to be fairly plush and your chassis package really dialed in And the Xray gear diff is the real deal.
