Default 35 amp matching

I have been playing with batteries a lot lately and have noticed that all these new 3800 cells can only put out 28amps per cell. Why exactly are battery companys matching at 35 amps?

It helps to weed out the weaker cells.

I understand the 35 amps to push the initial cell to see what ones die and what ones do not. However when putting on a final match, how can you match cells at 35 amps when they can only put out 28. Or better yet, one cell puts out 31 amps and the other 29. That alone has to throw a match off......

How did you determine they can only put out 28 amps per cell? Trust me they can put out way more than 28 amps

Right, given that even today's stock motors can have a peak amp draw as high as 80 amps, if a cell could only put out 28, the motor wouldn't be able to move. Trust me, our batteries can put out a LOT of amps(though they don't have to continuously)....
