How is the steering play?

Your setup for the car is quite extreme. I am assuming you have a medium grip track?

BTW, you may want to look into the springs from Robitronic. I used them on the version 1 car and they were absolutely magnificent. Do not underestimate the Robitronic springs.

Plus with droop settings at 8 and 9 mm, I am surprised the car is not lifting on hard turns. I am assuming you guys have wide turns, made for One-ways? Otherwise, sway bars would be a great idea with such high droop settings. Will keep the car further planted.

Tnx
it let my car roll more in the corners as well as running the softer hpi springs.

extreme how? yes the track is medium grip.

the softer robitronics springs are out of stock.

actually the droop is just 3mm in the front and 2mm in the rear not 8 and 9. next time i wont say above ride height. i took of the sway bars just for extra roll in the corners. also the track didnt really have wide turns .
answers in red.

well, i managed to fix my busted diff problems, turns out when i first build the diff, i squashed the circlip so it wouldnt go into its grove properly, after attempting to stretch it out back to its proper size, and flinging it across the room and then having to search for it for 2 hours, only to go outside and get a drink then walk in and see it on the floor, i reassembled it, and bam, works like a charm, now i got a third busted arse circlip that i need to fix up and ill have all my avids back in working order

thanks to all that made suggestions

about new robitronic spring, even if they are rated the same as the HPI's ones, they are quite different feeling! Also they are stiffer than HpI's one
for example the blue robitronic looks more like pink HPI.

For me using them or not depends on the track, best solution is to try both to check which ones are the best!

hpi silver springs
hole drilled in shock cap
Ackerman center holes
6 screws on front top deck 2 of which not tightend that hold steering linkage
3.5mm droop
.5% toe out
1.5 camber
no sway bars

Rear:
5.5mm ride hieght
2.5mm droop
550cst sweep racing shock oil
hpi blue springs
hole drilled in shock caps
2 screws on back part of top deck
2 screws on top deck in front of spur gear
3% toe
2 camber
no sway bars
