Anyone run on black carpet yet? So far I really like how stable this car is on the carpet. Still playing with different setups and gearing, but mostly my driving.

Cuda, do you happen to have any spare O Rings for the front suspension? For some dumb reason mine are failing?

Find some small gauge steel wire (Lowes?) and twist tie them on instead of the o-rings. The o-rings are butyl rubber and fall apart and stretch out after a while.

Does anyone else make a bulkhead plate for the rear pod? The one that comes with the kit is a little flimsy and breaks easy.

Agree....did you glue the edge of the plate? It really helps a lot....just make sure you apply enough CA to cover the edge. I had 1 serious crash at the rear and it still holds up.
This apply to the middle deck as well...it will start delaminate when installing the side sping screw if not applying enough CA, that hole is too close to the edge.

I like my TRF103, kit setup is fast and steady, not issue when completing with X1...the rest just driver's skill and luck:p

Also nothing need to upgrade...except 1 thing, the side links and probably the kit plastic pivot (part L5 i think). Strongly recommend to change them. They are too soft and got damaged easily.
I replaced them with #54460 and the car is perfect and hassle-free now.

Hi guys,

so as there was a discussion on the carpet setups I uploaded mine (with alu Chassis made by C. Donath) and Alex Stockers (carbon Chassis) setup of ETS Rd.1 on petitrc.
Sadly I damaged my alu Chassis pretty badly at the warm up laps of A1 as i traction rolled, so I think thats why i lost my pace on finals day.

Feel free to ask me anything, but Chance of a fast answeris higher on Facebook as I am not that often on rctech.

Best regards
Simon Lauter

Simon it very enjoyable to watch you race on youtube in ETS. Congrats on doing so well with the TRF103, Have you tried the t-bar setup with the car? Any little mods you do to make the car better for you? Tks and good luck racing;)
