BSR M RAGE UPGRADE DIFF GEARS
Hi Guys,
I have just purchased the BSR M Rage from Hobbyking and after some reading it seems that the diff gears are susceptible to being stripped out I have heard some people upgrading these to metal gears (along with the outdrives) but i am struggling to find where to buy these stronger gears from? Can someone please help me find the link to buy the upgraded metal diff gears from? Thanks in advance Jayden |

Thanks in advance Jayden I've heard rumours of large metal diff gears but the OEM doesn't make them and I don't know where to get them from. These don't strip as often as the smaller gears though, you probably don't need them. |
OK, a few months ago I ordered two plastic ball diffs from Hobbyking, and they shipped me two gear diffs with metal ring gears and metal outdrives. Go figure, I sh!t you not.
You need the shorty metal input gear and shorty metal input shaft like mentioned. I have ripped the stock plastic ring gear along the holes for the balls. All the way around. With a 13.5 on blinky and sweep slicks, sticky track. Never ever damaged any plastic teeth. Never had a driveline prob with 21.5 nor 17.5, other than me over tightening the ball diff. But the plastic outdrives do wear where the pins make contact. |

Totally serious. Picture for the part was the good old plastic ball diff. I could say order it and see what ya get, but wouldn't want my name on a game of chance.
