The cars come with aluminum, unless you want carbon as an option part, for super low grip typically.

Is anyone going to have the 2019 beta at Reedy? I want to check it out in person.

Awesome! I missed racing this past weekend. Not sure if he had it or not, but he was fast as usual though.

If I had chosen the GZ2 over the 4xEvo I'd be double hammer fist'n my keyboard right now. I'm sorry - no disrespect intended. Save the Gizmo.

As mentioned before, we are not stopping the support of the previous platform. Pretty much any development made on the BETA should apply to the GZ2, with the exception of the drive train.

They are the same car with 2 different drive train layouts. Much like you can set up an F1 or 12th scale inline or transverse.

I feel ya, but on opposite side of the fence. I've would've double hammer fist'n my keyboard right now if I bought a 4xEvo, no disrespect intended. Save the Standard Shocks.

What makes you say that about the 4XEvo, not that I run one just curious?

What happened to the Gizmo's innovative design? I think this is a step backward in terms of being innovative having a lone belt design.

Both platforms are still being developed, we are trying something new to see how well it will work. There was enough interest from fellow racers for the prototype, which is why we decided to to sell the beta car. This is still far different than any other car on the market, especially for the geometry and what can be changed, tuned, and envisioned.

We wanted to release a beta car to get opinions of the people who owned the platform, and what they thought it was good at, and what it needed improved on. Just like a computet game beta release. Its easy to day xyz when were all bench racing, but the most valuable feedback comes from the track, and racers.

Same base platform with two different drivetrain options. I'm not aware of any other on-road cars that offer that. Seems like the very definition of innovation.
