I am so inclined to try this... the SCT410 is an awesome platform and I love the idea of a 2WD version of the truck:

We have a friend who is working on a similar conversion. The only downfall I see is the dive under deceleration. Getting the front of the front hinge pins higher (adding kickup) with a custom "A" block should help, but then the overall caster angle will probably be too much. I hope he gets it all sorted out.
