Default Question about Battery and Motor/ESC

Will this battery https://www.amainhobbies.com/gens-ac...-b1068/p635629

and this motor/esc https://www.amainhobbies.com/tekin-r...17/p263935?r=0

work correctly together? Everything will be going in an MP9E TKI4

Thank you in advance

Yes it will work fine, however, might I suggest you try this battery instead?

True Spec Premium 14.8V 5200mAh 112Amps/90C

It's got better discharge rates which is always good for 1/8 scale electronics. Keeps everything happier

The discharge rate was my concern, but when I pick up another battery I will make sure to go higher than 50C.

I have always been Nitro so all of this is new to me. Will still be running Nitro but incorporating electric now as well.

Yeah discharge is pretty important for 1/8 scale but 50c at 5000mah is still good. The minimum i'd run is a 40c, but I'd be checking temps often to be safe lol.

when you do make the order, I suggest getting two or three because shipping is usually about $15. Still comes out a lot cheaper than most lipo manufacturers though and SMC is U.S. based

I know I sound like a broken record, but I can't speak highly enough of SMC. It's all I run these days.

Picked up 2 of these True Spec Premium 14.8V 6700mAh 131Amps/90C

The others were pre-order.

I picked up the gens ace shipped on eBay for $60 . I was going to get the SMC but they went on pre order I like it . It's a nice quality the gens ace .

For ESC I went with hobby wing SCT pro it's 140 amp and good for 4s and $110
